Anniversary Blog Haikus
I wondered if it would last.
Now it's integral.
A year ago, I
knew you not, yet now you have
become my dear friends.
Clearly, this is why
I should not resign my job
to write poetry.

Happy blog-a-versary! (That seems so very Winnie the Pooh to say. Doesn't Eyeore have Tail-a-versaries?) how did I miss this the first time around?
And your poetry is waaaaay better than mine.
What Teri said. The poetry I make up in the shower, stays in the shower.
Yay! I am very thrilled to have met you and consider you and Teri to be really good friends as well as Johnny.
I'm also quite jealous because I found haikus to be quite challenging. Give me free verse any day.
Listmaker, lol.
Teri- It does fit what Pooh would say, doesn't it. And you, my friend, are waaaaay too kind, the only person whose poetry is worse than mine is also me.
Listmaker- I should learn that lesson, yet I seem to feel the need to inflict intentionally wretched haiku on you. Evil.
Dana- Right back at you, sweetie! Do not tempt me with what damage I could do to free verse. I am sure GOOD haiku is very difficult, however, BAD haiku is frightenly easy. Just pare it to a total of 17 syllables and stop.
Happy Blog-o-versary! I'm thrilled you kept up and that you share so many heartwarming stories. Here's to many more years and we'll all read your haikus!
Yippee! Maintaining a blog IS a lot of work and you should be proud. Bravo, blogging sister.
Beth- You are so sweet. I really won't hold those I like to readng the haikus. For some reason, I just get the urge to write something beastly.
Gerah- It is such fun and cathartic and strangely social work, though, sister.
