Remorse

Hello, hello, hello!

Yes, I am alive and blogging sporadically. Mum and Morris visiting, remember? Lots of food to make and eat. Lots of children being grandparented. Lots of house to re-trash.

This morning, while waiting for Colin to eat and lose his shoes and get on the bus, I have caught up on all your doings of the past several days and, I must say, Haloscan bites. I can leave no witty comments for love or money to any of you. And let me say, they were some witty comments, I tell you.

But, they are gone, gone with the ether.

Not that I am bitter.

Or paranoid.

I mean, it has only been 5 days, not such a long time. And I was thinking about you all.

Really.

I think I need another cookie. And then breakfast.

Speaking of remorse, ever since Blogger got on the ball with it's commenting system (about two weeks after I dumped it for HaloScan), I've been sorry I jumped ship.

I think it's fixed now.

I hope you're having a lovely time with your guests.

Rozanne- Yes, all better, now. Guess there is no perfect system, damn them.

Teri- They are damn good cookies. I took your advice. Your cookie was especially good, I picked the big one for you.

What kind of cookies? Cookies are our friends.

I have missed you but hoping you are having a great visit.

Sometimes I love haloscan, sometimes I hate it. Sometimes I love blogger, sometimes I hate it. Sometimes I scream at my computer in the middle of the night (okay, not really).

Dana- Ooohhhh. These cookies are your very best friends. I will make them for you sometime. They are a recipe from Linda (Indigo Girl). Soft, three kinds of chips in a peanut butter base. That is the description but does not begin to do them justice. Around here, we just refer to them as THE Cookies.

Haloscan was down? Is this why I have gotten no comments? My feelings were hurt for nothing? LOL

The cookies sound fabulous!

I went to Haloscan about a month before Blogger got better with the comments. But I still have issues with Blogger's comments. I hadn't noticed problems with Haloscan that lasted more than an hour or two.

Thanks for stopping my my site. Can I add you to my links?

Cagey- I'm not sure how long it was down, but down it was, unless it really was some plot against me, which I have long suspected of my computer. We all love you, don't worry, and read each and every word you write.

Jamie- kiss, kiss!

Beth- Tcha! I feel I've known you forever, through Dana and Johnny. Odd this blogging thing. I would be honored to make your links and will add you to mine. It has been long overdue. I will make sure Dana shares the future cookies. Hope your birthday was swell.
