Haiku for The Dog With The Shit-Eatin' Grin

Why must you eat poop?
Cat and Deer, lord knows who's else.
Then you want a kiss.

Just when we think you've
done your worst, you slake your thirst
from her potty chair.

I'm afraid I'll be
brought back as a dog, if I'm
not good in this life.

Hmmm, I am afraid that settles the age old cat vs. dog debate. At least cats only LICK their butts. :-)

oh ew, what gross things
for such a cute puppy to
eat. I feel sick now.

Here's hoping she grows out of it QUICKLY-like!

Ew! That's just not right.

There is something you can give the pets to make them stop eating poop. My mom's newer dog has that problem and she's giving the dogs this thing that makes them not want to eat the poop (probably because it makes the poop taste bad - although I'm not sure how it can taste good to begin with).

You are good at writing haikus!

I feel that your collected haiku poems will be famous someday!

Love puppies, they have no gross out boundries!

Everyone- Yes. Nothing grosser than a dog. I think the drinking of the undiluted urine from the toddler potty chair was the topper, though.

Beth- Interesting. If she doesn't cut this out I will ask our vet. Our other dogs weren't like this. I am hoping that when she gets out of her mouthy stage she will be a bit more discerning in what she puts in her mouth.

Rozanne- I will have to check the freezer and see if she has anything hidden.

So, you really can write a haiku about just darn near anything, can't you? I'm wondering how a high school English teacher would grade you on those beauties? I mean, come on, many points for creativity!! You are so funny! Of course, I will have to use your haikus as a reference if my husband ever tries to make the case for getting a dog! As you said, hopefully it's a stage she will soon grow out of!

I laughed out loud at this, and opened up the box to say how funny it was, only to find that I'd already done so. Gettin' old...
